Matt Warhurst is a Canadian musician and record producer. He has played bass guitar in the punk rock group SNFU and the industrial rock band Jakalope.
Warhurst began his career with the alternative rock band Ocean3, who released several marginal releases and remained active for over a decade. In 2000, they began touring with fellow Vancouver, British Columbia band SNFU,[1] whom Warhurst would go on to join three years later following the departure of long-time bassist Rob Johnson. Warhurst played with the influential skate punk band[2][3] for the next two years, appearing on their 2004 album In the Meantime and In Between Time, and continued with them until their 2005 breakup. He also played with several SNFU and Ocean3 members in the short-lived side project Slaveco. He did not rejoin SNFU when they reformed two years later.
Warhurst played with Jakalope from 2002–2006, appearing on their It Dreams album.[4]
He has also produced records for the Canadian band the Invasives.[5] He currently plays in the industrial band Artisan Kane.[6]
